SE "Malyshev Plant" has always been considered one of the flagships of the indigenous defense industry. In fact, the glorious history of the Ukrainian arms business begins with "Malyshev Plant" - when in 1996 the Plant together with “Progress” company began to fulfill the largest contract in the history of Ukraine for the supply of 320 T-80UD tanks to Pakistan. Then there were many projects and agreements, and Ukraine, along with the contract, became one of the ten leaders in world arms exports.
On September 8, representatives of the British Embassy in Ukraine visited “Malyshev Plant”. Visit was initiated by the British Embassy. The purpose was the familiarization with production capabilities of the enterprise.
This was announced on September 9th by the chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kucher during a visit to the State Enterprise “Malyshev Plant”. The governor assured the management and staff of the company that he is interested in the development of “Malyshev Plant”. “MP” is an industry-forming enterprise with a significant number of jobs, it is a large taxpayer and a contributor to the budget.
SE "Malyshev Plant", part of SC "Ukroboronprom", has mastered a new field of manufacturing - tracks for infantry fighting vehicles. The enterprise specialists have already started fulfilling the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
State Enterprise "Malyshev Plant" has shipped another batch of two repaired and upgraded tanks BM "Bulat" to the customer.
During January-May 2020, the enterprises of the Department of Armored Vehicles of Ukroboronprom delivered more than 300 various new, restored and modernized armored vehicles to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
State Enterprise “Malyshev Plant”, which is a part of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom”, has taken its military equipment production output to a new level and has doubled production indicators in the first quarter of 2020 comparing to the same period of 2019.
In February, Kharkiv State Enterprise “Malyshev Plant”, which is a part of Ukroboronprom, manufactured a record number of tank engines per month - 10 units.
Director General of SE “Malyshev Plant” Vasyl Krylas received a letter of thanks from a foreign customer to the specialists of SE “Malyshev Plant”.
On January 9th, Vasyl Krylas was appointed as the new head of SE “Malyshev Plant” by the CEO of the state concern Ukroboronprom Aivaras Abromavicius according to the results of an open competition held at the end of last year.
